GOLFWEEK MAGAZINE RETURNS COG HILL DUBSDREAD TO AMERICAS GREATEST 100
FRANK JEMSEK GOT JUST WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FOR, WHEN GOLFWEEK MAGAZINE RETURNED
THE NUMBER FOUR DUBSDREAD COURSE AT COG HILL INTO THE AMERICAS GREATEST 100 GOLF
COURSES MODERN LIST.
The ranking came in at # 64 and Jemsek couldn't be more pleased. Jemsek was unaware of the new
ranking until informed by Golfers on Golf.
"I'm just thrilled," Jemsek said. "It was one of the reasons we brought Rees Jones in to renovate the
golf course. I think the sub-air system we put in our greens has helped too, people love the greens."

In spite of the new rating, Jemsek is not standing pat with the product he now offers his customers.
"I hope we get better in the future," Jemsek said. "Both for the players and for the spectators."
Jemsek also announced that while courses 1-2-3 are already open at Cog Hill, course #4 Dubsdread
will open for weekend play on Saturday April 10th. Weekday play will begin on Monday April 19th unless
great spring weather appears and allows Jemsek to open a few days earlier during the week of the 12th.
Cog Hill #4 was also rated the number one public course in Illinois by Golfweek. Dubsdread is also the
number one Illinois public course in the ratings of Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as well.
Golfweek Magazine has two Greatest 100 course list's. One division is for Classic Courses built prior to
1960, the other list is for Modern Courses built in 1960 up to present date. The Golfweek Magazine ratings
are run by Director Brad Klein, who oversees a group of some 450-500 panelists who rate courses both
across America and around the world.
Now all that is left is for the USGA to vote Dubsdread the number one choice for the 2017 U.S. Open.
