The long awaited "Golf Club at Harbor Shores" course will open it's full 18 holes layout today,
with a special grand opening event. The GOG BLOG will be in attendence, to give a full report
of the days events.
Harbor Shores Resort is the new center piece of Benton Harbor Michigan, only 90 minutes

of the Wolverine.
Tuesday August 10th is the special "Champions for Change" event. Featuring a special
foursome of the Golden Bear, the King Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, and Johnny Miller. Sorry
to say folks tickets are SOLD OUT. But the GOG Blog has learned that CBS will be filming
the round for a 30 minute special next year in 2011. Don't be surprised IF it aires on Masters
weekend.
Harbor Shores has already been selected for two major Champions tour events. The 2012 and
2014 Sr. PGA Championship. Where is 2013 you say..hmmm..at maybe the home of the 2010
completed yesterday PPNC in French Lick. Stay tuned for details there, but insiders tell the Gog
Blog, the PGA folks love French Lick and will be back with some event going forward. Plus those
senior players love to be by casinos, like the one on property at FL.

based Kemper Sports Management KSM) please visit www.harborshoresgolf.com. Or phone the

nine starting this afternoon. Head professional Jim Vogt says, "there are four holes along the quarry
and elevation changes. The Spartan Meadows holes will be closed and course now flows as one."
The course was originally a Keith Foster Design (Shepherd's Crook Zion), with an assist from his
