I AM OFF TO SEE THIS MAN'S UPGRADES AT BLACKWOLF RUN TODAY

I will have more to say about the Pete Dye upgrades to Blackwolf Run
in Kohler after a tour and some golf. Look for my thoughts on the 2011
season premier of Golfers on Golf Radio at 6 PM tonight on AM-1530
WJJG.

Dye and the folks at Kohler have spent two years tuning up the River
Course and the Meadow Valley Course, in preparation of next years
U.S. Womens Open.

THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP..good thing they moved it back to May
to avoid all the bad weather and rain in March. ooOOPs. Nice win for
KJ Choi, and he deserves congrats for dumping the interpreter scene
and speaking english. If all the LPGA players took his approach, they
wouldn't have had to worry about the old commish thinking of giving
them the ban.

IT WAS GOOD..to see David Toms one of the class acts in sports
doing so well again. One can tell he is getting fired up to play the
PGA Championship this August at the Atlanta Athletic Club, where
he won in 2004. Great story on how his 13 year old son is dragging
dad to the course, and getting dad fired up to play again.

TPC DAY 1...well well, look who had a WD after a 9 hole score of
42. Multiple injuries the Tiger says. Well stay home for a while
and heal up, take the U.S. Open off so Dan Hicks talks about
somebody else. There will be more debates about what is really
happening with now WORLD #8 and sinking...stay tuned.

BEST OF LUCK TO..The Fighting Illini and Coach Mike Small, and
Northwestern Wildcats and Coach Pat Goss and their teams will
battle this week in the NCAA Regionals to advance to the NCAA
Championship at the end of the month. The two Illinois Big Ten
schools finished one and two at the recent Big Ten Conference
Championship.

AS THE WEATHER IMPROVES...I THINK..it's time to go play. Can
you name the best 10 courses your played last year. If you didn't
play 10 different courses in 2010, set a goal of playing 11 different
courses in 2011.

10. Harbor Shores MI.

DID YOU VISIT DEMO DAY WEEKEND AT COG HILL..some publication
(not sure if anyone has heard of it) called Golf Digest sponsored it.
It was a great chance rain or shine, and it was more rain than shine
to hit any club you wanted from the major manufacturers.

Maybe it's time to upgrade your bag and sticks..I will..it's time for 2011
golf season to kick into full speed...looking forward to tonight and
