THE JOHN DEERE CLASSIC HAS ANNOUNCED THAT 2010 BRITISH OPEN CHAMPION
LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN...will join the field July 7-10.

OOSTHUIZEN...The South African who won the 2010 British Open at age 28 by
seven shots, then said the first thing he was going to do with some of his prize
money was to buy a John Deere tractor. Told JDC tournament officials he would
come play this year in the Quad Cities, the home of John Deere tractors.

Tournament Director Clair Peterson made the announcement last Thursday.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Louis Oosthuizen to our 2011 field,"
Peterson said. "This is the first time in the 41 year history of our event, the
defending British Open Champion has competed in the John Deere Classic
