WGA-WWGA FORM PARTNERSHIP TO START IN 2012



THE WESTERN GOLF ASSOCIATION (WGA) HAS A NEW PARTNER IN TOWN, THE
WOMENS WESTERN GOLF ASSOCIATION (WWGA) HAVE JOINED FORCES STARTING
IN 2012.

The new partnership will will have the WGA provide administrative support to WWGA
Championships starting next season.

"We are excited to enter into this partnership for two golf organizations with a storied
history to work closely together," said John Kaczkowski, President and CEO of the
WGA, headquartered in Golf Illinois. "This is the beginning of what we hope to be
a long mutually beneficial relationship."

The WWGA is currently hosting it's 111th National Championship at the Sawgrass
CC in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida. The WWGA Junior Championship will be played
at Flossmoor CC July 11-15.

"This partnership will provide long-term stability for our organization and tap into
the wonderful talent and resources of the WGA," said Linda Gilley, president of the
WWGA.

A history between the organizations dates back more than 110 years, as the WGA
was the initial sponsorship of the Womens Western Amateur Championship in
1901. WWGA currently conducts board meetings at WGA headquarters.

The two organizations jointly sponsor a Womens Western Evans Scholar, for a
female caddy. This years Evans Scholar is Yesenia Juarez who will attend school
at Northwestern University this fall.
