IN GLENVIEW. ADMISSION IS FREE

Defending Champion and Stanford Cardinal David Chung returns to
defend his WGA-Amateur title he won in 2010 at Skokie Country Club.
The practice round on Monday is open to the public and the tournament
starts on Tuesday.

The 18 hole championship match is next Saturday afternoon, and
admission and parking are FREE. Our Gog Blog preview of the

THE GOG BLOG GUY PLAYED AN OUTING AT SKOKIE CC, this
past week which hosted the Western Amateur last summer. The
course plays a bit more open this year with the removal of between
50-75 trees over the past winter. Congrats to the membership and
superintendent Don Cross and crew for a job well done.

2011 US-AMATEUR media day was held at Erin Hills this past
week, the Gog Blog Guy attended and convinced US-Amateur
Champion Peter Uihlein to drop in on the Golfers on Golf Radio
