STEVE STRICKER....spoke 1 on 1 with the Gog Blog today at Olympia Fields CC,
which is hosting the Steve Stricker Illini Golf event. Outstanding comments from
world #3 espeically on Cog Hill and Rees Jones. Thoughts on the Presidents Cup
team, and whether or not world #33 belongs on the team. His apology in England
to Kyle Stanley on stealing the John Deere Classic from him.

RAVES..to Steve Stricker again..for his open and candid view points on golf
and what ticks within the game. The Gog blog spoke with World #3, ( a number
that matters) and the top ranking American player in the world.
RANTS...I'm disapointed to see WGA Western Amateur champion Ethan
Tracy not in the field this week at Erin Hills. Unfortunately even with his
win at Northshore, he did not qualify to get in. Which also eliminates him
from consideration from this years Walker Cup Team.
