STEVE STRICKER SPEAKS OUT, ON COG HILL, REES JONES, TIGER

COG HILL'S DESIGN BY REES JONES ISN'T GOING OVER WELL WITH TOUR PROS
THE GOG BLOG..caught up with Steve Stricker at the University of Illinois
golf programs annual fund raiser. Stricker is the host for the event which
this year was held at Olympia Fields Country Club for the first time.
In a candid interview, Stricker was excited about returning to Cog Hill next
month for what might be Cog Hills final PGA Tour-Western Golf Association
professional event. But admitted that the new Rees Jones renovations aren't
going over well with PGA Tour players.
In addition, Stricker says Jones work at the recent PGA Championship
and some other venues has left players wondering what Jones is trying to
do.

A SANDY LIE AND "REES'ED" AS THE SAYING GOES.
Stricker who never says a bad word about anyone, showed his
disapointment during the interview. It was obvious that disapointment
was for the Jemsek family, because of the investment they made to
give tour players and daily customers a better product. But hasn't
worked out that way.

Stricker was asked about his Presidents Cup playing partner maybe not being
there in 2011, for Captain Fred Couples Team USA. But Stricker believes that
Couple will select Tiger Woods to join the team.
