A NEW US AMATEUR CHAMPION WILL BE CROWNED ON SUNDAY, AND WILL
WALK OUT OF ERIN HILLS WITH THE HAVEMEYER TROPHY.

There is one player left that has a chance to join the USA Walker Cup
Team for the Matches to played Sept 9-10-11 at Royal Aberdeen in
England.

That player is Kelly Kraft. But first he has to defeat Patrick Cantlay in
the 36 hole Sunday final in the US Amateur at Erin Hills. The final match
will be shown on NBC, but could be over by the time TV starts, so to
see it live come to Erin Hills and see it in person. admission and parking
are FREE.
             

WALKER CUP CAPTAIN JIM HOLTGRIEVE...has three picks left to
make to round out his 10 man Tean USA squad. If Kelly Kraft wins the
AM today he will make the team, if not then ?. IF Kraft loses then
Holtgrieve will pick three players, and the three could be any one of
several players.
