THE GOG BLOGS SUNDAY MORNING SHORT GAME
THE BARN AT, COG HILL THE HOME OF THE BMW CHAMPIONSHIP. AT
LEAST FOR TODAY..THEN IN 2012 "THE STICK" PETE DYE'S CLUB NEAR
INDY..WHICH IS ACTUALLY CALLED CROOKED STICK.
There has been a lot of golf this week, so this Sunday Morning Short
Game will be just that, Short.
It appears the Cog Hill era as home of the Western Golf Association's
professional event is over as of today. So come out and it enjoy the
place one more time as a big tournament venue. That is until the next
big tournament gets there. Whenever that may be.
YES I KNOW..the Bears are playing at noon. Plenty of TV's at Cog Hill
to keep you updated. Besides the Evans Scholars are a better cause
than the Bears.
LUKE DONALD..apparently continued on to the Cog Hill bashing
bandwagon today, sounds like he is ready to move on and up north.
Where up north, how about Luke's home club in the Chicago area
Lake Forest's Conway Farms (CF). Host course of the 2012 USGA
Mid-Amateur.
