THE NEW CLUBHOUSE AT TULLYMORE, IS JUST ONE OF THE STANWOOD
MICHIGAN RESORTS GREAT FEATURES.
If you haven't been to St.Ives-Tullymore in a while, you are missing out on
one of Michigans great golf resorts. A resort that keeps expanding, and isn't
done yet.
The property is under the leadership of new CEO Terry Schieber, who is
convinced that the resort can be more that a one-night stop over for golfers,
in route north to resorts with more rooms and golf courses.
While St. Ives is still the older classic style course is has been, the Tullymore
side of the property is growing. What started out as just an 18 hole Jim Engh
designed course with a trailer as a clubhouse for years, has now taken off
with the completion of an award winning clubhouse.
But that's not all. This year the addition of a new lodge that holds groups of
20 has opened. Not far from the clubhouse, the lodge has a hot-tub on the
patio near the barbecues. Just outside the front door is the new putting green
that will keep the golfers going, long after the final putt holes out on the course.
A new swimming pool near the lodge is under construction and will be ready
for 2012. More rental units are available near the course as well.

RELEVATION GOLF OF ELK GROVE..will give their Humanitarian Award to
former USGA President Judy Bell, who served as the 54th President. Bell
was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001. Bell a former Curtis
Cup team member and US Womens Open participant, will be honored on
Thursday November 10th at The Wellington in Arlington Heights.
Relevation Golf is a not for profit organization, that uses golf to help veterans,
children, adults and at-risk youth with cancer to be active members of the
community. Bell has also survived a fight with cancer. For more information

TNT WILL BROADCAST THE GRAND SLAM OF GOLF...Monday Oct.17th

THERE IS ONE MONTH LEFT TO REGISTER...For tickets to the 73rd
Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shores golf Club in Benton Harbor
Michigan. There will be a limited amount of tickets sold for this event.
The championship will be played May 22-27 of 2012.
TICKET SALES WILL BEGIN ON NOVEMBER 11TH, for those who have
already registered at SPGA2012.com by November 10th. To enhance the
spectators experience, only 8-10,000 tickets will be sold per day. After
December 31, of 2011 ticket prices do increase. There are both daily
grounds tickets, and weekly tickets available.
OAK GROVE GOLF COURSE IN HARVARD..is offering memberships

THE WESTERN GOLF ASSOCIATION..has taken over the administration of
the Caddy Hall of Fame. The hall was founded in 1999 by the Professional
Caddies Association and Dennis and Laura Cone. The exhibit will be housed
at the WGA headquarters in Golf Illinois. Dennis Cone was inducted into the
Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the BMW Championship last month.
THE JIM MCLEAN PRO-AM WILL BE HELD AT THE DORAL RESORT, in
early February of 2012. Doral Miami Florida's golf leader will host the event.
