The weather outside isn't great, but it's winter. Golfers might not be
able to GO PLAY as the Gog Blog likes to say, but one can practice
just about all day in Bensenville at the White Pines Golf Dome.
Owner Mike Munro is even keeping the dome open on Christmas Eve
7 AM-4 PM and will be OPEN for the same hours on Christmas day.
Got new clubs for Christmas, go test them out. Leaving for the warm
weather on the 26th or 27th, go practice before heading out for New
Years. Or that an entire winter relocation down south, out west or in
Hawaii.
Normal dome hours are daily 7 AM- to 11 PM. The dome has just
added a great new feature, the SAM (science and motion) Putt Lab
as part of the 4PlayersGolf Academy, visit www.4playersgolf.com.
Performance coach John Perna will have you sinking more putts in
2012, after a visit to the SAM Putt Lab.
The White Pines Golf Dome has several top local teachers taking
up residence there for the winter. Including Chuck Lynch, Marty
"Longball" Joyce, Dan Kochevar and more.
So come and enjoy the White Pines Golf Dome, work on your game
or watch the big game while you practice on HDTV's located inside
the dome. The refreshment stand now has fresh sandwiches daily.
Club Demo days are coming in Jan.,Feb., and March. Companies
already coming are Adams Golf, Yes Putters, Titleist, Ping and
Taylor Made. More companies expected to commit soon. Adams
(6-9 PM) and Yes (5-6 PM) will be first up in 2012 on Jan. 5th.
