CANTIGNY GOLF.....Will host the First golf show in Chicago for the
new year. It's THURSDAY FEB. 2 2012. At least eight equipment
manufacturers will be on hand.
HOURS..will be 11 AM- 8 PM. There will also be seminars, prizes,

win a FREE foursome for 18 holes of golf at Cantigny.

THE PGA TOUR STORE..is coming to town. At 1321 East Golf Road
in Schaumburg. A second store at a unknown location will open this
year in Chicago. No date is set for when either store store will open.
The Gog Blog is awaiting word from both the WGA/BMW Championship
and the John Deere Classic, the two Illinois PGA Tour stops. If they
will sell merchandise there.
PGA TOUR COMMISSIONER...Tim Finchem has agreed to a new
four year deal with the tour. It's not clear yet if Finchem who turns 65
in April will finish out the entire contract.
